SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR Coming Soon! Dear Families, Get ready - here comes the Scholastic Book Fair again! This is a great opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing home new books to dive into again and again. Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. And fostering a love of independent reading leads to a wide variety of benefits - including academic success and improved mental health. Here's everything you need to know about the Book Fair which will take place in the Elementary Library from Monday, April 27th - Friday, May 1st. Monday and Tuesday will be preview days, where our students will browse the Book Fair during school hours and bring home a wish list of books they would like to purchase. Our purchasing days will be on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and parents are welcome to come into the school library on Wednesday from 1:40 - 2:15 pm or Thursday from 3:10 - 4:15 pm to purchase as well - students can purchase during school hours. If you can't make it to the Fair, then shop at our school's Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. All purchases, online or in person, benefit our library. Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Invite family and friends to contribute so your child can select their own books to enjoy. Any unused funds can be pent at the Scholastic Store Online or to fund a future eWallet. When you fund an eWallet, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a giving initiative called Shae the Fair. Your contributions directly support our students who need help buying books from the Fair.
